The Guildford Diocesan Guild of Church Bell Ringers

The Guild is keen to foster good relationships with all clergy, PCCs, neighbours, ringers and ringing associations and the general public, including young people and anyone with an interest in the art, science, technology and history of bell-ringing.

The Guild is keen to encourage ringers, usually at local level, to participate in local events, including church and village fetes and shows, and to ring for special occasions.

Where local ringers wish to participate in these events, we have some publicity material that can help, and we can advise on setting up displays, organising open days and the like.

Please contact your local tower captain, district ringing master, one of the Guild officers or the Public Relations Officer for further information.

The Public Relations Officer holds a number of display boards that can be borrowed by any Guild member for use in public information exercises. These boards are quite heavily used on summer weekends, so please book them well in advance.

Some of the boards can be viewed from the pdf files below. High-resolution versions can be e-mailed. Hover over the image to see the poster subject and click to download it.
